Carlsbad Caverns

Being silly....Rangers for the day :) And a gorgeous day it was. We descended into the caverns 750 ft down via elevator and hiked back out (75 stories)! Most people walked in then took elevator back out and waited in a 2 hr line to do so! 
The entrance to the cave is very dramatic and hosts nests of cave swallows...the day shift! The bats are the night shift and we will watch 5 million depart at 8 pm!
Photography is tough on the iPad underground, but we got a few shots to give you a feel. We have better photos on the "real" camera!
