Biking and Horseback Rides

Until today, Cade's Cove had been my favorite bike ride. The Grand Teton National park is magnificent. Everything is either blue or green. The sky, the grasses, the trees, the streams....and tiny delicate wild flowers fill the meadows. We wound down our afternoon with a leisurely bike ride down Grassy rd.
A thunderstorm appears to be approaching below.
Mark thanking "Glacier" and "Rendez-Vous" for a great ride and Bridget feeding "Stitch" some well deserved treats!
Riding was a perfect way to see the back country!
In the morning we visited Colter Bay Visitor's Center and did the Swan Lake Trail hike. We saw a bald eagle!!! We had a fabulous view of it. It flew directly over us about 40' in the air. We were fortunate that it flew back in our direction a few minutes later. At 10:00 we attended a Ranger Talk on Raptors and Bridget was able to share our experience. After that we had about 45 minutes to kill before having to head to the stables for our horseback ride. Bridget spotted an osprey perched atop a dead pine. I captured a great shot of it on the other camera. :))
